  • 50-Denier Ripstop Nylon: The outer fabric is balanced for durability and packability. The ripstop weave prevents small snags from turning into large tears during rugged treks.

  • Articulated Knees: Pre-curved tailoring follows the natural movement of your legs, ensuring unrestricted mobility during steep ascents or high steps over fallen logs.

  • Off-Set Seaming: Seams are moved away from high-friction areas to reduce wear and tear and prevent chafing during long-distance walking.

  • Weather-Sealed Details: Fully taped seams ensure no water seeps through the stitching, while the elastic waist and adjustable drawcord provide a personalized, secure fit.

Care Instructions

  • Washing: Machine wash on a warm, gentle cycle. Use a specialized technical wash (like Nikwax) to maintain the waterproof membrane.

  • Drying: Tumble dry on low heat. The heat actually helps "reactivate" the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating on the outer fabric.

  • Avoid: Do not use fabric softeners or bleach, as these will clog the breathable pores and destroy the waterproof bond.

  • Storage: Ensure the pants are 100% dry before storing them in their stuff sack to prevent mildew.

This is to replace what I’d lost on a recent trip. The goretex works very well, shielded me from sudden downpour. The cap is also very fitted for me, not all caps can do. Though the price here in SG is $20 more than what I got from Japan but it’s worth the buy!
