X-Boundaries has never been just a shop. We're a gathering point for people who actually go — up mountains, into jungles, onto the high plateau — and we've been part of that world for a long time.
Twenty years in the Tibetan highlands
Our sister company, X-Trekkers, has run Operation Shangri-La since 2002 — a programme that pairs real high-altitude adventure with hands-on community work in the Tibetan villages of Diqing, in northwest Yunnan. Over two decades it has built water systems, supported village classrooms, and helped communities stand up their own sustainable tourism. It continues today as Operation Tashi Deleg, a community expedition officially supported by Raleigh Singapore.
It's the spirit behind everything in our store: go properly, go with respect, and leave a place better than you found it.

Heading somewhere demanding? Come in and get it right. Our team fits expedition and trekking kit properly — layering for altitude and cold, footwear, packs and field essentials from Montbell, icebreaker, Smartwool and BioLite — based on where you're actually going and what you'll actually face.
If you're booked on an X-Trekkers expedition, drop by for a pre-departure fitting session and we'll make sure you arrive equipped, not over-packed.
