Care & Maintenance
Washing premium down requires care to maintain its loft and waterproof shell. Please follow these guidelines:
- Washing: Machine wash cold on a gentle or delicate cycle using a down-specific detergent. Always place the coat in a laundry net.
- Submersion: Ensure the jacket is fully submerged in soapy water; press down gently by hand if it floats.
- Drying: Remove from the laundry net and tumble dry on a normal, low heat setting. Check periodically to ensure excessive heat is not being applied.
- Lofting: If the down begins to clump during the drying process, gently pat the baffles with both hands to evenly loosen the feathers.
- Note: Do not bleach. Do not iron. Wet cleaning (mild process) or petroleum solvent dry cleaning is acceptable.
