To ensure the longevity of your Trekking Umbrella 50, please observe the following guidelines:
- Opening: Do NOT press the button on the runner when opening the umbrella. Extend the shaft, carefully pull out each rib one by one, straighten all ribs completely, and then open the canopy. Attempting to force the umbrella open without straightening the ribs can cause them to snap.
- Closing: Press the runner button to close. Gently push and store the handle; applying excessive force may cause damage.
- Wind Safety: While designed for the trail, the umbrella may still become damaged if used in extremely strong, gale-force winds. Always be mindful of your surroundings and other people in the area during use.
- Drying: Leave the umbrella open in a shaded, well-ventilated area to dry completely before long-term storage to maintain the water-repellent finish.
