Tips from X-Boundaries

• At 258 g this is the lightest fleece we stock from Montbell. If weight or pack space is what stops you carrying a mid-layer, this is the one that solves it.
• Hoodless by design — 28 g lighter than the hooded CLIMAGRID and the better choice under a hooded shell, where a second hood only adds bulk at the neck.
• Grid fleece breathes far better than flat fleece of the same weight. Reach for it when you are moving; reach for insulation when you are standing still.
• Pilling where pack straps rub is normal. A cheap fabric shaver takes it off and the garment is unaffected.
• Asian sizing runs smaller than European or US. If you are between sizes, come in and try one — we hold stock at both stores.
