Hothands Body Warmers are rectangular shaped single-use air-activated heat packs that contain and adhesive on one side so they stay in place where you stick them. They provide up to 12 hours of continuous warmth for the body.

Instructions 

  • When used as directed, this warmer provides up to 12 hours of effective heat.
  • To reduce the risk of serious burns, read all instructions and warnings carefully before use. See Hothands.com.
  • Check skin for irritation or sign of injury before, periodically during, and after each use 
  • Open outer package just prior to use.
  • Warmer should not be kneaded or shaken
  • Peel away paper backing from warmer. Immediately place adhesive side on insdie  of outerwear or outside of clothing (Do not contact to or on skin).
  • For maximum benefit, cover warmer with additional loose layers of clothing
  • Warmer heats up in 15-30 minutes 
  • Do not open, puncture or tear warmer.
  • After use, dispose with regular garbage.

Storage 

  • Store in a cool place.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, excessive heat and low humidity.

Warning:

  • Immediately remove and discard warmer if it is uncomfortably hot.
  • Do not place directly on or against skin.
  • Do not use:
  1. While sleeping;
  2. In tight fitting apparel that presses warmer against body;
  3. In any situation where pressure is applied to the warmer;
  4. On infants or those who cannot feel heat;
  5. For medical treatment or pain relief; 
  6. With other heating devices or in a microwave.
  • Careful Supervision is required when used  with thin socks or by the elderly, children, the handicapped and those with sensitive skin.
  • Unless directed by physician, warmer should not be used on people who have:
  1. Diabetes;
  2. Skin allergies:
  3. Nerve damage;
  4. Arthritis;
  5. Circulatory problems;
  6. Sensitive skin,
  7. Inability to apply or remove warmer by themselves; 
  8. Paralysis.
  • Or on areas that have:
  1. Open wounds;
  2. Scars;
  3. Bruising;
  4. Frostbite;
  5. Swelling.
  • For external use only.
  • Do not allow contents to get in eyes or on skin. If in eyes or on skin, flush thoroughly with clean water. If in mouth, contact Poison Control Center as it contains iron powder, which can be harmful if swallowed.
  • Keep out of reach of unsupervised children and pets.
