Care & Maintenance
To ensure the longevity of the locking mechanisms and carbon shaft:
- Cleaning: After hiking in rain, mud, or dusty conditions, disassemble the three sections of the pole and wipe them completely clean and dry before storing.
- Storage: Store the poles fully disassembled or loosely collapsed in a dry environment to prevent corrosion inside the aluminum sections or seizing of the cam-lock mechanism.
- Cam-Lock Tension: Occasionally check the tension of the cam-lock lever; it can be easily tightened if it begins to feel loose over time.
