The Superior Down Jacket is Montbell's everyday down layer: 800 fill power EX Down with a 55 g fill, in a 10-denier Ballistic Airlight nylon ripstop shell with a water-repellent finish. No hood, so it layers cleanly under a shell.

At a supplier reference weight of 190 g it packs into its own stuff sack and disappears into a daypack. Single-layer quilted construction means warmth without bulk — useful for air-conditioned offices, night buses, and shoulder-season treks where the temperature swings.

Japanese sizing, S to XXL. Size up if you intend to wear a mid-layer beneath.
