The O.D. Anorak is Montbell's everyday outdoor shell, cut from 70-denier full dull spun-like nylon tussar with a water-repellent finish. The fabric handles like cotton — matte, soft, no technical sheen — while shedding light rain and wind, which is what makes it as comfortable in town as it is on the trail.

Practical details throughout: one large zipped pocket across the front and two zipped hand pockets, a hem drawcord you can adjust from inside the front pockets without taking the jacket off, articulated arms that move with you, adjustable alpine cuffs, and a lined collar with a zip end-guard so the slider does not sit against your chin.
