Tips from X-Boundaries
- This is the sensible choice for a first ski trip or an occasional skier. Same waterproofing, same Edge Guard, same seam sealing as the Powder Hop — 100g lighter and considerably cheaper.
- What you give up is side ventilation zips and stretch fabric. If you ski hard enough to overheat, or hike for your turns, pay the difference for the Hop.
- Fully seam-sealed matters on pants more than on a jacket. You sit in snow; a taped seam is what stops it getting through.
- We stock regular length only. Montbell also makes short and long inseams — talk to us if you are notably tall or short.
Care
Follow the garment care label. Wash and dry as directed to keep the water repellent finish working.

Size fits as per chart. Good stitching overall & ventilation very good. Haven't tried in wet weather just yet but likely to be working excellent. Stores very easily in running waistband and thoroughly recommend. Previously tried Adidas, Ciele, and Rabbit - this is way better.
