A tote built to be used hard. 1000-denier Ballistic nylon is the same class of fabric used in heavy-duty luggage, and the handles are thick cowhide rather than webbing. It fits B4 documents flat and closes with a centre snap so nothing works its way out.

The handles are natural leather. Wrinkles and irregular colouring are normal characteristics of the material, and the colour may fade or transfer onto other surfaces with use.

Tips from X-Boundaries
- 1000-denier Ballistic is roughly ten times the yarn weight of the nylon in a packable tote. This is not a bag you fold away — it is one you use every day for years.
- The leather handles are the reason to buy it and the reason to think first. They soften and darken with handling, which most people like, but they can mark a light shirt or a pale car seat in the first months.
- B4 is larger than A4 — this takes a laptop, a folder and a jacket without strain. It is the office-to-airport bag rather than the trail bag.
- Keep the leather dry where you can. The nylon body shrugs off a Singapore downpour; natural leather does not enjoy it.
