Key Features
- Incredibly Compact Folding System: The shaft folds down to an extremely compact 32 cm (12.6 in), allowing it to easily stow away inside small daypacks or carry-on luggage.
- Extended EVA Grip: A lengthened foam grip allows for instant, on-the-fly hand position adjustments to adapt to changing trail gradients.
- Smart Basket Design: Features a unique semi-circular trekking basket that packs completely flush and neat against the folded shafts.
- Storage Case: Not included. Montbell’s Folding Pole Case, which holds two poles, is sold separately. When folded, the shafts are held together by the attached hook-and-loop belt.

Care & Maintenance
To ensure the internal folding cord and aluminum shafts stay in top condition:
- Cleaning: After hiking in muddy or dusty conditions, wipe the shafts completely clean with a damp cloth.
- Drying: Crucial step: Always allow the pole sections to dry completely before folding them up and securing them with the hook-and-loop belt. Trapped moisture inside the folded shafts can lead to internal corrosion over time.

60L duffel bag is ideal for porters and horse back. Very lightweight, fold down to small pack, strong zippers and materials. Seen it in action and decided to get one myself.
